WAGENINGEN - How to design healthy foods that are attractive, delicious and also nutritious and are meeting the high demands that consumers have for sustainability, convenience and pricing? A lot of product developers and food technologists in the food industry, all over the world, are facing this enormous challenge.
Wageningen Academy, the institute of Wageningen University & Research, that valorises the knowledge from academic education and research towards working food business professionals, organises a one day program, where you learn a step by step approach towards the secrets of a perfect healthy food design, but will also show failures and market challenges to learn from.
Prof. dr. Vincenzo Fogliano from the science group Food Quality & Design is the course leader of this program on an academic level. He will take the participants from product development towards design thinking fundaments, where technology, marketing and consumer come together in various design and production strategies. More information is available on the website.
