LONDON - British supermarkets have been forced to ration vegetables after floods and storms ransacked crops across the Mediterranean. Some of the country’s leading retailers have put caps on the amount of fresh produce shoppers can buy at one time, with broccoli and iceberg lettuces among the worst affected vegetables.
But how exactly has this happened, and what does it mean for consumers?
