Leon Cuypers new COO of Vion Business Unit Pork

BOXTEL - Vion has appointed Leon Cuypers (43) as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Business Unit Pork with effect from 1 September 2022. Leon Cuypers’ former position was Director Business Development at Vion.
Leon Cuypers grew within the ranks of Vion since 2015, with high-impact prior positions preparing him for the job of COO. His career path shows extensive knowledge of the Pork industry, agility and a continuous drive to move forward, with previous positions as Director Business Development, Director of Vion’s northern Pork companies and Director Supply Chain. Leon Cuypers has a degree in chemical engineering and a proven record in general management, production, supply chain and process optimisation at companies such as AkzoNobel, Bolletje, DFE Pharma and VolkerWessels. He is an entrepreneurial leader who builds a strong network and inspires with vision and commitment.
